No. 15
This piece was inspired by a documentary on the American Southwest—the vastness of its landscape, the saturation of its colors, and the way light moves through it all. The palette—turquoise and cerulean, deep mauves, rosy pinks, cactus greens, magenta, and sun-baked terracotta—came from simply liking how those colors lived together on the screen.
Oil on canvas
60" x 40" x 1.5"
A nod to Southwestern American Art with peeps of turquoise-cerulean, deep mauves, purple browns, rosy pinks, cactus greens, magenta, and sun-baked terracotta hues.
