This large-scale oil painting centers on overlappings tains of quinacridone pinks, pale yellows, and warm olive greens. These layered hues cluster at the center, creating depth and subtle variations that drawa the viewer's gaze through their rich interplay.
Just off-center, a stain of Prussian Blue--a color historically linked to depth and contemplation--settles into the surface. Its cool, moody presence adds emotional contrast and invites quiet reflection beneath the brightness.
Framing the composition is a dense band of Venetian Red. Cool and richly opaque, it grounds the painting with steady presence. While the vivid center commands immediate attention, the Venetian Red edges often go unnoticed. My true obsession is with this color--a quiet presence that reveals its depth only to those who pause and engage.
